Found female (pretty sure) grey and peach colored short hair, medium sized cat in north normal near Kroger on College. She's been here for quite some time. Front declawed and very friendly! Skiddish with other cats but doesn't seem as fearful of dogs. Shadow has been missing since January, from Danbury Court. Which is on the South end of Veterans. He is golden tan with short hair. He has white markings on his chest, paws, and the tip of his tail. When he went missing he was wearing a blue collar with his rabies tags one blue and one green for 2006 and 2007. He weighed 25-27lbs. when he went missing. He is 7yrs old, but is mistaken for a pup. His eyes matched the color of his fur. He is very loving, obedient and house trained. The last time he was seen was in Feb. on Laesch and Greenwood. UPDATE: I had to take the female yellow lab puppy to the animal control facility as it is part of county policy. She will be held for 3 days in the hopes that owners will come forward, after that time she will be available for adoption and may be transferred to the Humane Society if they have room. We nick-named her Caboose and she is so sweet and smart and playful! She did well with crate training, house training and learning basic commands while she was here, but we just couldn't keep her because we have dogs of our own. If this is your pup, please get her out of there! I feel terrible that she's in that place! If you have room in your home/heart for her she's well worth it and deserves a great home once she's available for adoption.
