Please check with all the shelters in town if you have lost or found an animal, Humane Society of Central Illinois McLean County Animal Control, CISAR (309-287-3608), etc. If you are considering keeping the pet you have found, please take it to a Vet ASAP, they could have a microchip, and also they need to ensure good health. ***Best Advice---if you have found a cat/dog running around---don't bring it inside---the owners could be walking/driving around looking for it and won't find it inside a home(if you have to bring them inside, put a sign out in the yard saying that you have it inside, if it's not too far away from where you found the animal (meaning don't take it to the other side of town and put a sign in the yard) and then put a posting on here. Call the Humane Society 451-1000 (M, Tu, F 10:00-6:00, Sat 10:00-4:00, Sun 1:00-4:00) AND Animal Control 888-5060 (M-F 9:30-4:30, closed 1:00-2:00)-they might have information about a missing dog/cat.

I found 3 kittens in my Sherwood neighborhood in Downs. They look about 10 weeks old. They are very well behaved and have been using the litter box. One is almost completely white, with a few brown and black spots. Another is also white with some brown and black spots as well. The other one is tan and looks kind of like a Siamese cat. There are 2 boys and 1 girl. They did not have any collars or tags of any kind when found.
