The Chinese pulled a Milli-Vanilli during the Opening Ceremony

The unquestioned star of the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Olympics was a little girl who performed "Hymn to the Motherland" in front of the entire world. Well, it turns out that she wasn't as talented as we all thought. It was in fact, a seven year old singing to the whole world on a pre-recorded tape, not the cute, pig-tailed girl we saw on the small screen. The girl on the left is who we saw "sing", but the girl on the right was actually the winner of the competition to see who would sing at the opening ceremonies. Apparantly representatives didn't think the girl on the right portrayed the image the chinese wanted to convey, so they made the swap.
In the words of Stephanie Tanner...HOW RUDE!
